Happen St. is a digital creative agency that helps businesses and startups bring a user-first mentality to their identity along with a clean & modern aesthetic.
As a first impression for prospective clients, it was important to convey a professional yet bold look when designing this website. With creativity being the business’ backbone, I felt it should also be playful and artistic. As a backdrop to the use of negative space, I added geometrical shapes on opposite corners of the screen to play off of the abstract brand and infuse a playful look. To balance the bold purples and greens used throughout the site, photographic images used are black and white.
Because the design is so simple, I wanted the site to feel like it came to life when a user interacted with it. To solve for this, I designed animations that blends one page to the next. It was a simple solution that delights its users.
